Claude de Jaham (Oct 2022)
Former sea staff of P&O Princess Cruises who cruised in the Caribbean will be saddened to hear that Claude de Jaham died on 18 October in Fort-de-France, Martinique at the age of 79.
Claude was the CEO of Marship Maritime and Shipping Services, the Port Agent in Martinique. He will be particularly remembered for setting up the facilities on Palm Island and Mayreau Island for Princess Cruises.
The funeral took place on 24 October in Sainte-Marie, Martinique.

Xavier Pitarque (June 2016)
Xavier Pitarque passed away in Barcelona at the age of 77
A message would not normally be sent about someone who was not a P&O employee, but as the Managing Director of the Port Agency which acted for P&O in most of the Spanish ports of call, Xavier Pitarque was a personal friend of many of the Captains and Senior Officers who are now retired from P&O Cruises.
In 2012 he was a guest at the P&O Pensioners’ Reunion Luncheon and also took part in the P&O Golf Day.
